I just came across this link. You can now have the Holy Quran in MSN. Just add quraanmajeed@gmail.com in your “MSN Messenger” contacts list you have online Quran Translations in your MSN. You can ask for it’s any specific verse. And you can have a general search also. This is done by a Quran Bot. This is a real good effort and I really appreciate it.

1. Add quraanmajeed@gmail.com to your msn, it will come online as soon as you add it. Open the chat window
2. If you want to read the 11th verse of the 9th surah, write in the message “Quran 9:11 en” and send it (without the quotes)
3. it will answer you with Yousaf Ali’s English translation of that surah
4. En in these commands means English, which is the only available language for the time being, the guy says he’ll add more languages in future)
5. If you want to find some specific topic in the Quran, for example Divorce, type “Quran search divorce” and send it.
6. You will get the surah and verse numbers of the verses that contain your keyword in English. For example when you search for divorce it will give you “2:228, 2:229, 2:230, 2:231, 2:232, 2:236, 2:237, 2:241, 33:4, 33:49, 58:2, 58:3,65:1, 66:5″
7. You can then read each verse using steps 2 and 3.
You can also read these instructions in that chat window by sending “help”
